Hi, I'm Brian

I am BACP Registered Counsellor. I also have a Certificate in Couples Counselling, a Certificate of Qualification in Social Work, and a Diploma in Community and Youth Work.

I have worked with people in a variety of settings for over thirty years.

I counsel for several Employee Assistance Programmes and over the last twelve years I have worked for a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service counselling children, Young People, Parents and Families.

I am also a member of Couples Counselling Network which recruits Experienced Couples Counsellors throughout the country.

I have been a Relate Counsellor working with individuals and couples for fifteen years and a Supervisor of other Counsellors for six years.

My special interest is in Counselling for Relationships, Loss, Bereavement, Abuse, Stress, Work Problems, Domestic Violence, Parenting, Children and Young People.

I will use whatever theories and techniques that I know of that seem useful to you and tend to use a Systemic perspective.
